White’s Pharmacy is a locally-owned community pharmacy that has been serving Wiggins, Mississippi and the surrounding areas since 1965. Priding themselves on fast and friendly service, they provide patients with a one-stop shop for all of their pharmacy needs. White’s pharmacy boasts a wide range of services including medication flavoring, long-term care services and medication synchronization. They even have a gift shop with a wide range of gift and decor items. However, their online presence fell short when it came to illustrating all that they have to offer and driving pharmacy website traffic.Â

Alexandra White Johnson is a pharmacist and partial owner of White’s Pharmacy. Since graduating from pharmacy school, she has been working to improve processes and boost their online presence. Mobile App Makes Prescription Refills More EfficientÂ
After launching their new healthsite, patients of White’s Pharmacy can now request prescription refills straight from the new website and mobile app. Rather than coming into the pharmacy or calling, patients can now refill prescriptions from their own devices at times convenient for them.
Not only are online refills more convenient for patients, but they also make it easier on the White’s Pharmacy team! Because their pharmacy management system is integrated with our digital suite, all refills are automatically sent to their queue.
The Results
Increased Pharmacy Website Traffic & App Downloads
In the first few months, since launching their website in November 2021, White’s Pharmacy has had a 452% increase in monthly website sessions. That number is growing as they are now ranked # 1 on Google for “Pharmacies Near Wiggins, MS.”
They also have seen great success with their mobile app. After spreading the word on social media, they saw a significant uptick in mobile app downloads. They are now totaling 136 mobile app downloads and 437 mobile refill requests.
Improved Efficiencies & Convenience for Team
In addition to increased website traffic, the White’s pharmacy team has also noticed an increasing reduction in call-ins with questions on services such as flu shots, transfers, or refills.
