For this week’s celebration of American Pharmacists Month, we want to highlight Jonathan Sinyard, pharmacist and owner of Adams Drug Store in Cordele, Georgia.
Sinyard had always known that he wanted to work in the health care field, and from an early age, he had a strong desire to help others. After recognizing the unique position that pharmacies play in the health care system, Sinyard knew that he had found his calling.
The summer after his freshman year of undergraduate studies, Sinyard started working at Adams Drug Store. Having been born and raised in Cordele, he was able to build unique connections with his patients, and from day one, it never felt like a job.
Furthering his passion for helping others, Sinyard ultimately became the owner of Adams Drug Store, where he continues to build close relationships with his patients and the Cordele community. Valuing the trust that the local community has for his pharmacy and his staff, Sinyard feels incredibly blessed that he is able to help make a direct impact on those in need.
When not serving the pharmaceutical needs of the community, Sinyard loves to spend time with his wife and two kids. On Sundays, as an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, you might catch him watching the game and cheering them on with his family.
Happy American Pharmacists Month from the team at Digital Pharmacist! Keep your eyes peeled for next week’s pharmacist spotlight.
