RxWiki, Inc., a rapidly growing eHealth company connecting community pharmacies and patients through its Digital Pharmacist platform, announced today that another 150 specialty and community pharmacies have adopted its Digital Pharmacist SaaS Platform to power their digital patient engagement strategy since January 1. Since the product suite launched one year ago, 1,200 specialty and community pharmacies have signed up for the platform. A further 2,500 NCPA pharmacies leverage RxWiki’s pharmacy approved content to enable their social media strategies.
“We’re pleased with our momentum,” said Brent Werbeck, EVP, Digital Pharmacist Network. “Our SaaS based platform gives specialty and community pharmacies the tools needed to compete in the mobile age at an affordable price. Patients engage more with our pharmacy partners’ social media channels, websites, e-newsletters and mobile apps thanks to our high quality content, electronic prescription refill and drug discount capability.”
Specialty and local pharmacies to adopt the Digital Pharmacist platform since January 1 include Scott Pharmacy, IA, Citizen’s Pharmacy, GA, Spruce Mountain Pharmacy, ME, and Moweaqua Pharmacy, IL.
“We have seen a big improvement in productivity since moving to online refills,” said David Scott, from Scott Pharmacy. “What used to take hundreds of 5 minute phone calls to receive refill orders is now automated. It’s more convenient for the customer and our pharmacists now have more time to consult with patients.”
“We chose RxWiki because it gives us a digital platform to compete with the big box pharmacies in our market,” said Samir Shah, from Citizen’s Pharmacy. “We can now provide the same valuable refill and patient engagement capabilities without a large investment in technology and staff.”
“We are excited about providing online refill services to our customers using RxWiki’s engagement platform,” said Steve Maki, from Spruce Mountain Pharmacy. “The implementation with RxWiki was fast, easy and they helped us every step of the way.”
“We are already seeing great results from our new mobile app,” said Terry Traster, from Moweaqua Pharmacy. “Everyone in our community, including busy moms, business owners, and farmers like the convenience of refilling their prescriptions electronically using our app.”
Other community pharmacies signing up for RxWiki’s Digital Pharmacist platform include Brinkhaus Thrifty Way, LA, Conrad Marr Drug, OK, Crittenden’s Drug, Inc., VA, Granby Pharmacy, CT, Howell & Heggie, MS, Hugh’s Pharmacy, AL, Porter Pharmacy & Gifts, GA, QuickCare Pharmacy and Clinic, CA, Rocky’s Med Shoppe, LA, West Cocoa Pharmacy and Compounding, FL.
